Our countries traditions.

We fast one month a year.So we are hungry at a certain time of the day. This is an order  of our religion. The name of a month we fast is the month of Ramadan.A preparation is made one day before the month of Ramadan.Children celebrate today by visiting home. They travel home and collect candy, chocolate and cake.In the evening of that day ,they jump over the fire. And they make a wish and fly a lantern. This is our beautiful tradition. We celebrate the coming of Ramadan.

And our Ramadan Feast...Our holiday tradition...We kiss the hand of our elders .We offer them sugar and cologne.

Christmas is very important holiday in Poland, Christmas Carols are sang by the students, we also love Santa Claus' Day

Another important tradition is Grandmother's and Grandfather's Day
January 21 is Grandmother’s Day (Dzień Babci) in Poland. Grandmother’s Day has been celebrated every year since 1964. Grandfather’s Day is celebrated a day later, on January 22nd. Every year our youngest pupils prepare a special ceremony for their grandparents to honour them.

Traditions are important in our school like any other school. The most important is Christmas and the traditions before it. We have a lot of programs.

The other most important tradition in our school is the Charity evening where teachers and students perform something as well.

THE FANCY_DRESS PARTY IS A FUNNY TRADITION IN OUR SCHOOL:

Ingrida Jureviciene. Kedainiai Special School. Lithuania
